Welcome to the first ever
New York Invasive Species Awareness Week
Mapping Challenge

Challenge extended through June 19th!

During the 2022 NY Invasive Species Awareness Week (June 6-12), we are launching the first ever NYISAW Mapping Challenge, which will run from June 6-19!

We challenge you to get out and map spotted lanternfly, and the focus species for your PRISM (Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management).

1

Check which PRISM you are in, and learn more about your region’s focus species by clicking the links in the dashboard, or watching our playlist!

2

Go outside and check for spotted lanternfly and your region's focal species.

3

Report back to iMap whether or not you find it!

The top iMap observers for spotted lanternfly and the focal species for each PRISM (including presence and not-detected records) will win a prize from the NYSDEC!
