Long Island - iMapInvasives in our Community

In partnership with the NYNHP and LIISMA, Bob Mozer of the Town of Southampton Citizen Advisory Committee is offering a free webinar to learn about an initiative that’s taking place across NY State to identify and map invasive species of plants, insects, and animals in our local communities. The State program is looking for more “eyes on the ground” to help identify and manage these invasives as they are causing damage to our local ecosystems that can lead to adverse affects to our economy. During the webinar, you will learn about these invasives, set up an iMap account, and download and install desktop and mobile apps for collecting and uploading your field observations.
