About the event
During the 2022 New York Invasive Species Awareness Week (June 6th – June 12th), we are launching the first ever NYISAW Mapping Challenge! We challenge you to get out and map this week’s statewide priority species, spotted lanternfly, and the priority species for your PRISM (partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management). The top reporters to iMapInvasives will win! For more info, visit nyimapinvasives.org/nyisaw.
In the webinar, you meet some of our PRISM staff, and learn how to identify some priority invasive species to look out for - spotted lanternfly, tree-of-heaven, Japanese tree lilac, princess tree, beech leaf disease, and the quagga mussel!
